What's the fashion like in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil?

What are their latest trends for clothes?

I have lots of shoes and accesseries from there. I want to know what they dress like these days. I havint been there for a long time.

In Rio, people ignore the fact it's winter now, since its always pretty hot. Most people wear havaianas daily or just to stay home. But I love them so much I wear them to restaurants. =] Anyways, they love thong sandals and heels. They also like to wear floral things and dresses. The fashion isn't THAT different... since there is so much American influence. Many women are wearing leggings now, but its supposively going to become unpopular soon.

Been twice and they are quite comfortable when dressing. Lots of heat and nice sunny weather so flipflops (havaianas) are still a must, then shorts, tshirts, and the best of dressing in Brasil is that nobody cares or looks you bad for wearing something in particular! They are very ecclectic and like to wear mini dresses at night and super high heels, its a very hedonistic culture and they worshio the sun so they always wear white clothes which will make their tan look good.

I have a friend who lives there.  His girlfriend always wears flip flops (like every Carioca) around during the day with jean skirts and either a tank top or T-shirt.

At the discos like Melt and Zero Zero, guys tend to wear American or European style jeans and women wear t-shirts, tank tops and tight pants (white or black), jeans, or dresses that are more like cocktail dresses.
