  1. Ducati 1098

  2. The ZX14 has out ran the Busa several times and did not need any corrected times for sea level  and all those crutches that the busa needs. Even the big Vtwins have been out running it most of  the time in NHRA Pro Stock. And Gatson put the busa's away in Super Street.

  3. Suzuki Eyes A Buser, not sure about ZX14 and of course the BMW K 1200 S

  4. Suzuki Hayabusa

I think it has over 1300cc, that's a lot for a sport bike that is relatively light weight.

  5. lol 5000 speed i dont know what that means but it made me laugh for some reason. dont do it man suicide is not the answer.

  6. Kawasaki ZX-14, Suzuki Hayabusa.

Doesn't matter because they're internationally governed to 186 mph.

  7. turbo busa

    or the y2k

  8. 5000 speed

  9. It depends how you measure it. The fastest bikes you can buy off the showroom floor are the Suzuki Hayabusa and Kawasaki ZX14. Whoever put the Triumph Speed Triple was clearly smoking crack; I doubt it could manage 150mph, and I doubt anyone could hang onto it even if it could.

As bikes got more and more powerful an agreement was reached between the manufacturers and the European Union to electronically limit top speeds. The limit is 300kmh, or 186mph. This is a "gentleman's agreement" - i.e. it isn't law, and could be broken, however it is in no-ones interest to break it ( bike manufacturers don't want to have to compete by building ever faster bikes which governments would then seek to outlaw)

The electronics can be beaten, ( most people seem to use Power Commander engine management chips) and you can buy off the shelf go faster parts - e.g. a turbo for a Hayabusa. The real issue is that you need A LOT more power to just go a few mph faster at these really high speeds. Doing things like removing mirrors and turn signals makes more difference than you would ever expect.

The Land Speed Record for motorcycles is held by this bike - however, this is a one off special:

I wonder what 350 mph actually feels like...

  10. world's fastest street legal currently is a 2007 Kawasaki ZX14 built by Mr. Turbo and x*x Chrome Plating. The bike is owned and ridden by Kevin Mullner and on October 7, 2007, he rode his ZX14 to 230.157mph at the Texas Mile in Golland, TX. With that pass he set a new world record for a Pro Star Super Street class bike.

  11. Give it up guys the triumph rocket III is a 2300 or 2.3 liter engine outruns the busa and it's a cruiser style bike

  12. Well if you are Ricky Gadsen go with the zx14 otherwise its the rider. You can make a new Hayabusa go over 200 with little mods...if you like ugly bikes tho that are heavy go with the 14. even though it is not really a 1400
