I see it as just racism if someone thinks a Poly cant play NRL because his from a different country. its a sport for anyone who loves the game and it so happens to be loved by islanders too. It gives them a chance to represent their country too, & i know there is just as many Aussie up & comers as Pollys.. I. So i reckon its good for the game and spreads interest into the islands too

With the amount of players leaving the NRL and going overseas, I see it as nothing more than a huge boost for the game.  Without the injection of Pacific Island players, there is pretty much no one left.  I see it as a positive step forward. So, then again, does it really matter if they're pacific islander or not?

Don't like it. Sick of the influence they are having, causing trouble off the field.

First answer is racist if i've ever seen one. Don't generalize islanders with that ****. When was the last time Petero has done something bad off the field? How about Anthony Tupou?....What background is Todd Carney by the way? Pathetic.

Anyway, I think its good to get other cultures involved, this is a sport by the community FOR the community. Great players they are as well.

i dont see the problem. they are just like all the other players if not better, like look at israel folau.

and within the next few years this guy called justin o'neil is joining storm. and he is like a tank.

I don't have a problem. Like all the groups that make up our society they contribute to the game

Good at least there is a source of new players for the game.  RL is going to be challenged to stay afloat in the next few years like never before and needs all the players it can get.
