What's the going rate for a pint of beer in London..roughly?

yes..I know different pubs will charge different amounts for different brands...just looking for a range

In the westend you'll pay £3.50- £4.50 and in a hotel bar like the Soho Hotel £5.00 just for a bottle. Wherever you are stay there unless you have a pocket full of money.

Central London ~£3.30ish for a brand name, otherwise £2.60ish for a cheapo import.

Greater London you can get lower prices, eg ~£2.40 or sometimes less than £2 (I wouldn't drink there).

Generally the more you pay the less pikey's will be in there.
