  1. The tooth fairy in my house doesn't give money...but she brings little presents that are no more than 3 dollars. My daughter lost her first tooth a couple months ago and got a pack of crayons and a note.

  2. What I usually got when the "tooth fairy" would come is some candy, a little money, and little stuff I'd enjoy. At that time, I'd rather have candy than money

  3. $5 for the first tooth and then $1 for the rest of them

  4. Never money. Always a fun little game or something small enough to slip underneath the pillow.

  5. first tooth is $5 then $2 for each after that

  6. i got .05 hen i was a kid.. mine isnt getting more then .75-1.00.. tho i like the present thing better.. good idea

  7. $1

  8. Good question.

My daughter chooses either money or a small toy or trinket.  We have a special notepad that I created on the computer and she leaves a note for the Tooth Fairy with her request.  (I keep a few crisp bills and some of the dollar toys always available for the unexpected visit.)

Most often she chooses toy, but last time she requested $1 and a toy for her sister who is terribly jealous about the tooth fairy.  Couldn't say no to that one.

  9. give the kid a quarter. That's what my parents did with me.

  10. well the very first tooth yes is 5$ i gave mine 20$  so yea but after that give them like 1$ to 25C or 50C

  11. I don't know.

I got Quarters when I was little.

  12. Bigger amount for very first tooth...like $5 then $1 after that.

  13. My parents used to give me a silver dollar which i think you can just get at the bank, but it made the hole thing really special for me and my brother and my parents didn't have to give more and more money because the rarity of the silver dollar made it fun enough

  14. I have friend who's little girl just lost her tooth. She paid $5 because the tooth fairy forgot a couple of nights what her job was. This little girl was so upset; she thought the tooth fairy couldn't find her tooth, so she taped it to the bottom of the pillow. My friend had a difficult time finding the tooth for sure, but was successful with out being caught. Just an FYI to all of the tooth fairy helpers out there, kids are getting wiser and charging interest = )

  15. My kids got $5 for their first tooth and then either $2 or a small something around the same price. The tooth fairy brought my 8yr a pack of water balloons last week ;) lol. A pack of 50 for $1 and he kept asking for them. Why not?

    Best Wishes =]

  16. We got trapped into $5 for the first tooth (kid down the street lost his the day before my daughter and announced his $5 tooth fairy gift the next day at the bus stop - couldn't very well give her less than $5 after that!).  My friend has a good strategy - she tells her kids that the tooth fairy pays more for good, white, clean teeth.  It encourages her kids to brush really well, especially on the loose teeth that they sometimes avoid as they are nervous about brushing them.
