What's the greatest contribution of anthropology to the world?

  1. The recognition that not all people think, behave and feel the way we do. It opened up our eyes to our differences. It also framed these differences in a way that attempts to avoid judgment.


  2. Respect and equality. It made us learn that we are all equal, whether white or black or asian. We all came from monkeys/hobbits/adam&eve. It made us respect others and earn their respect as well for no one is above the other when we are talking about origins

  3. The IDENITY CRISIS!  Mankind is undecided as to what or Who it's ancesters are-where we originated and if we are indeed an evolutionary process--So we find ourselves not only arguing origion of man with religion but where and how among the scientific community.....Messy--is it not?

    I think the monkeys are laughing and God has thrown up His hands in amazement...
