  1. The hardest part of being virtuous is being virtuous and remaining human.  Humans are not virtuous by nature; we are selfish, greedy, envious and immoral.   To be sure, we "civilized" humans attempt to maintain a modicum of control over those characteristics to make life possible in a socialized community.

Those few of us who choose to completely suppress those human characteristics to the extent that we may be called "virtuous", become less than human -- and as the news stories often reveal, they often self-destruct in a glare of sensational publicity.

Virtuousness should be practiced only in moderation and never to the extent of smugness.

  2. obviously avoiding the temptations

  3. Nothing.  Being perfect comes naturally to me

  4. If you are really being virtuous then nothing is hard. If you are an imposter, then your life itself will be hard to live.

  5. Other than being it?  Admitting when you're not... even to yourself.

  6. doing the right thing when it isn't easy.  :P

  7. Table Top... That would be TRYING to stay virtuous!

  8. The hardest part of being virtuous is to maintain your morals even when it seems easier and more popular to do other things.

  9. Virtue was not left to stand alone...he who practices it will have neighbors.

  10. Maintaining integrity, which is choosing the hard right over the easy wrong even when nobody is looking.  I think that would be hard because accepting such a label is accepting the personal and social responsibility that comes along with it.

  11. sometime you loses your own self your own identity.
