I just wondered. Just when I think I can play as high as I can I'm taught another couple of notes. The highest at the moment is a top G which is like the other Gs but without the thumb. How much higher can you go, is there another whole octave?

  1. A triple High C

  2. high C isnt the highest note there are five more. hard to play but fun. all the way past a high c to an F. contact me for the notes and fingerings. :] best answer?

  3. personally i'm almost there (at two octaves above the bar line c) at a really b flat. The flutes range goes from middle c (the one right below the staff) to that extremely high c

  4. HI there....  There are a few more notes for you to learn higher than your G.  There is the G# A  Bb  B  and C.   If you get very very good.....    it is possible to go higher with the  C#  D  Eb

E and  F.    Hardly anyone can play those... but it is possible for the awesome flute players.   Hope that answers your question.   And keep learning those high notes... you are going to need them for the harder music.  :))

  5. High C# is the highest I can play

officially the highest note is a C, but my my flute teacher can play a D

  6. there are 3 octaves. High C is the highest

  7. The flute plays three octaves from middle C. So there's middle C, then normal C ( the first C you learnt), next there's the C above that and then there's one more C above that. You are 3 whole tones from the top! You won't have to play highest C until grade 7, though.

  8. high c

  9. Hey! Technically, the range of a c flute is the c right below the staff to the c on top of the 5th ledger line. But--people have found higher! If you go to http://www.fluteinfo.com/Fingering_chart...  it wil show you fingerings all the way up to the g above that very high c! Slowly work your way up though--don't get frustrated w/ high notes! You can probably find fingerings for even higher if you like, but I have yet to find music that goes above the normal high c. Good luck!!
