It depends on the manufacturer and where you are in the world. I have researched 2 companies -

Iveco - downunder its city buses produce 260bhp.

Volvo's city fleet, which range from mini to standard to long bendy-buses, vary from 290 to 360 bhp for the last 2 models.

The number of cylinders range from 6 to 12.

generally a minibus will have about 200 bhp and a decker could have up to 400bhp. not sure about trams cos i cant do electric motors
