  1. Hi

Not sure exactly but mine is -6 and everything is nice and chilled

  2. It should be below 5 and preferably between 2 and 4 - all measurements in Celsius of course.

The only problem with having a fridge set at a very low temperature is that when it tells you to defrost a frozen chicken in the fridge overnight, IT WON'T - so care must be taken (and a degree of common sense!) over things like that !

CAN SOMEONE TELL THOSE PEOPLE AT YAHOO THAT BECAUSE I SOMETIMES USE ALL CAPS TO EMPHASISE SOMETHING, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT I AM SHOUTING AT PEOPLE AND THEREFORE I DO NOT NEED REMINDING THAT I LEFT THE CAPS LOCK KEY ON - AND NEITHER DO I NEED THAT ANNOYING AND CONSTANT "YOU HAVE MISS..." RUBBISH TO KEEP POPPING UP. I'M PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF SPELLING IN MY OWN LANGUAGE THANK YOU ! ! !

  3. 5 degrees

but heres a website that tells you the different temp for diff parts

    http://www.babyspoon.co.uk/fridge.htm

  4. 1-5 degrees, 3 being best

  5. Below 40F

  6. SPOOKY! I just had to find this out yesterday! Between 3 and 8 is the best temperature. Anything below 3 and your food will start to freeze and taint your food. Any higher, bacteria will grow really fast and you might get ill.

That is what a chef told me yesterday morning anyway!

  7. The preferred temperature is somewhere between 35 and 38 degrees F (1.7 to 3.3 degrees C). Anything higher and foods will spoil too quickly (it also presents food poisoning problems, as described in several of the links below). Anything lower and freezing becomes a problem.

  8. just under 40 so that would be 39

  9. 6 degrees . (i'm right)

  10. Between 0 and 3/4 degrees C is the temperature I have my fridge at. Certainly it should be below 5 degrees C.

  11. 5 degrees

  12. should be about 4 degrees

  13. 5 degrees is fine for most fridges, but I keep mine at 2 degrees for extra chilled drinks.
