  1. It all depends on how rich you are. If you're not concerned about how much you need to pay for electricity, 72F is the standard temperature for businesses for optimum comfort for workers and productivity. If you are tight on money, set to 80F and supplement with a fan directed at you and it is still comfortable.

  2. im an a/c tech, usually i  always set the temp at 72f thats the average comfortable body temp, but its always up to you what ever temp you are comfortable!!!!!

  3. If you live in the South, I would recommend about 76 degrees to keep it relatively cool but still keep your bill somewhat low. I live in Michigan and we set ours to 72 because it doesn't get AS warm here, but it still gets hot. In the winter we leave it at 66.

  4. Something that makes a difference is how well your house is insulated and sealed.Around 70 is good.If you have leaks in your house you'll have to run the ac cooler to stay comfortable thus higher electric bill.

  5. when home during the day I keep mine at 78...at night for sleeping I turn it to 76...when I leave for work or a day away from home I put it at 90.

  6. 78 for money saving

  7. 68 degrees.

  8. Everybody is different but 75 seems to be an average.

  9. 70.f

  10. Depends where you're at. I'm in the Northeast with a tight house.

I keep mine at 78 during the day and 75 at night.

Also have ceiling fans in each room and a large attic fan.

So I'm always comfortable. House and location and cost will determine what you feel comfortable with.

If you have zoned heat/cooling you can set the area where you're going to be most of the time lower and raise the other area.
