What's the job availability of a pediatrician?

I have to look it up for school and I'm way too lazy, not to mention I have a c**p load of other stuff to do.

the availability or do you mean the prospects for?

the projected growth for physicians in general is expected to slightly above average at 14% (the job market as a whole is expected to grow 12%) over the next 10-20 years. growth for physicians will be greatest in the area of geriatrics and slowest in pediatrics. this is due to our society aging and living longer while birth rates continue to fall.

of course this is all contingent on the area of the country and how that areas particular population is growing and changing.
