  1. Karma. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Whatever you do, is going to come back on you.

Do good get good in return. Do bad you had it lad.

Karma basically means an action performed. Action has to be performed, no one can stop acting.  In the Vedas it is explained that there is three kinds of karma.  Karma, vikarma and akarma.

Karma is action performed for material benefit but according to religious scripture, and will produce action and reaction of equal and opposite returns, but will eventually but slowly elevate one spiritually.

Vikarma is action forbidden by religious scripture, which when performed will bring about severe reaction and cause one to fall into lower species of life.

Akarma is action which does not bring any material reaction whatsoever and which fixes one on the spiritual platform, and after death transfers one to the eternal spiritual kingdom. Or in other words, that action which is constantly in accordance with the desire of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Sometimes known also as Naiskarma.

In Bhagavad-gita it is said: " Work done as a sacrifice to please the Lord has to be performed, otherwise whatever you do will lead to binding you to this material world." And:

" Intelligent person engage in the devotional service of the Lord and in that way free themselves from good and bad actions, even in this life."  Also:   "By engaging in devotional service to the Supreme Lord, great sages or devotees free themselves from the results of work in the material world. In this way they become free from the cycle of birth and death and attain that state beyond all miseries by going back home to Godhead, the eternal transcendental world."

One has to work in this work, but we have to work for the pleasure of the Lord and offer everything to Him with love and devotion, and in that way become free from the reactions for all our actions or Karma. I'll leave it there. Take care. Best wishes. GOURANGA GOURANGA GOURANGA

  2. "Life is like a tire".With this quote you can realize that all things you've done whether it is good or bad, will actually return to you or to your descendants....It is just a matter of time...

  3. the common way of describing karma is 'what goes around comes around'.

so if you do something bad, sooner or later something bad will happen to you in return for doing that. that's bad karma.

if you do something good, them something good will return back to you. hence, good karma.

  4. Karma means deeds. These can be good or bad deeds.(Good karma or Bad karma). The result of good karma is good and bad karma is bad.You can say this is based on Neuton's Third Law of Motion: For every action there is equal and opposite reaction. This exists in all religions.

  5. karma literally means your deeds or actions.

the law of karma tells that if you do good deeds, you will be rewarded and if your deeds are bad, then you will be punished.

Hinduism also believes  in rebirth. if you do good deeds in this birth, you will blessed in the next birth.

if you do bad deeds in this birth , you will face sufferings in your next birth.

  6. cause and effect.

  7. Kara is do unto others as you

have them do unto you.  You

get back, bad or good, deeds

    sooner or later.

If you have done a nice

    happens, good karma

    kicks in to help you.
