There was an ice age, tropical period, etc...Why does it have to be pollution instead the Earth's wobble as it orbits the Sun pointing towards the Sun rather than away...are they measuring that?

Or just a climatic ccle coming to an end?

The earth has had proven cold periods and proven hot andproven in-between periods. The Sahara was an ocean, some shallow seas were land...cycles in earth's history...

You are right to question the cause of global warming.  It could be because of human activity.  It could be that we are between ice ages and still warming up.  It could also be a combination of both of the above. As more evidence is gathered, it will be more likely that the cause or causes are verified.
