  1. Like the first poster, when I lived in Los Angeles and was working doing internal sales for Lexus, I had a monster commute.  I had to drop my ex off at school, which could potentially add up to another 30 miles round trip everyday depending on what day of the week it was and what my schedule looked like.

Some days I got off lucky and only had about 50 miles round trip.  On days where I had to commute to Carlsbad or up the coast past Santa Barbara to deal with some dealership owner, I could log 300_ miles in one day, in heavy socal traffic.

It's a good thing I didn't use my own car... at least I was stuck in a Lexus all day.

  2. I drive about 45 minutes each way to school, but I leave an hour and 15 minutes before, because there can be traffic, and parking at my school sucks.

  3. Drove 125 miles one way from Waterford, CT (near New london) to South Bronx for 3 years 5 days a week

  4. 91 miles each way 5 days a week from san diego county to los angeles county. had it down to right at an hour

  5. My job requires me to drive all over Orange county and southern California.

I usually drive about 30 to 50 miles in less than an hour a day. If it's a long day, I can drive up 120 to 200 miles just in one day.
