I've actually never seen a stop sign change.

They always say "Stop".

if you mean a red light we set for 20 minutes one day waiting for it to change and finally would up running it,i don't know if it ever changed or not,but after 20 minutes of setting i through it was time to go,they do that sometimes here where i live at,and most of the time we just run them,not legal but it beats setting through them,good luck.

I don't know how long it was, but when I realized it was a sign and not a light I knew I was in no shape to be driving.  I turned around and went back home!

after 5 miutes of waiting, oviously the light was broken so we drove around it.

For a stop light? Probably upto 5 minutes late at night, I guess the sensor didn't pick up my car, so I just went through it.

I think cities should set traffic lights to blinking red late at night (at least on side streets) so cars can stop and just proceed when the way is clear instead of just sitting there idling, polluting, wasting fuel, and wasting time, especially when nobody else is around.

Stop signs don't change.  I have waited 15 minutes on a light when there was a cop behind me before I gave up and ran it.

There's a stop sign on my corner that hasn't changed in years. I don't think they ever do.

HAHAHA! Way too many times have I puled this one! One time, my hunny and I were fighting in the car and I was driving. I pulle dup to the stop sign and I was just yelling and yelling after about two minutes he looks at me and says "are you waiting for it to turn green?" I finally realized how dumb I had been! We laughed and that was the end of that fight! LOL! I dont remember what the fight was about but I do remember that!

i didnt know stop signs changed....haha just playing...

ive waited a couple of minutes for a light to change from red...and i figured it was sensored so i put my car in reverse then drove up to it a couple of times, and no one was around...but i was just afraid for a cop to show up out of nowhere...so what i did was, ( i wanted to turn left) so i turned right, to get to the other side of the light, where it was green, then went straight to where i wanted to go. haha.
