What's the main committee in charge of monitoring global warming?

it's like the International something or other...like IUPPC or something like that....what's it called?

and is the environmental protection agency (EPA) the main organization in charge of global warming in the U.S.?

There's really no one organization.  Hundreds of scientists all around the world contribute to the massive scientific proof.

Some of them get together every five years, and write a report summarizing the work.  They're called the IPCC, but they all (except for some support staff) have other full time jobs.

The EPA has tried to say they have no legal responsibility, but the Supreme Court has informed them that they're wrong.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) summarizes all the climate science research in one big report.

In the US, the main group monitoring global warming is NASA GISS.

In the US the group responsible for regulating greenhouse gas emissions is the EPA, although they're doing a terrible job of it, which has forced the states to sue them several times.
