Mazzy is correct, even to the links, however one does not MAKE a casting.

   A Casting Director, or committee, in knowing a script, and the needs of characters to portray the script, holds auditions, or casting calls.

   In that time, anyone auditioning, is usually expected to perform as directed, for any particular part. Most often, unless directed an audition is not designed for a prospective to do anything directly from a piece of work they are auditioning for, unless asked to do a cold read from the work.

   In a "Call Back" it should be assumed that doing an actual segment from the piece, might be expected.
