I'm interested in joining the RAF as a pilot, but I'm afraid I'll be too short (I'm 4'10 1/2").

How short is too short to be an RAF pilot?

Thank you very much! :)

  1. about 26000 feet

  2. Height isn't really a problem. They do require though that you be between 17 1/2 years and 23 years old on application and you would generally be in service from 18 up to 38.

it's open to males and females and you require 5 gcse's and 2 a-levels or 3 highers or equivilent. the Gcse's have to be at least 3 of them at grade c minimum.

You must also have british nationality and they generally want people to have 20/20 vision
