Present rate 16/17 year old £3.40 p.h.

                       18 to 21           £4.60 p.h.

                        over 21           £5.52 p.h.

Oct. 2008 this becomes

                       16/17 year old £3.53 p.h.

                       18 to 21           £4.77 p.h.

                        over 21           £5.73 p.h.

There is however, an 'ongoing attempt' to give an extra £1 an hour in central London
