What's the most affordable program to study abroad in Russia over the summer?

I really, really would like to spend the summer in Russia studying the language, but the only thing holding me back is the money. I looked into the program in my school and the costs were pretty steep (about 6,000 for 6 weeks) so I am wondering if there are any programs that are less- and I am open to shorter programs as well.
