Here one to start: films on UK TV are shown 1 frame per second faster than the cinema. Does not sound much but a 100 min will run at 96 mins on TV.

I know can you do better than this.

Totally random, but here it is.  The word "posh" actually is an acronym for a cruise ship term from the early 1900's, meaning "port side out, starboard  home", which means that both ways of the journey, first class passengers would have a view of whatever sights there we're to see, such as the port they we're docking in, as opposed to only having an unending view of the ocean.  Early in the 1900's, only people who we're well off could afford first class, so the acronym came to mean something of expense or status.

  15. Marvin, I think you are wrong about the two species who get pleasure from s*x.  I'm sure that there are loads more - one in particular is a kind of chimpanzee where they indulge in s*x all the time (including the very young ones)

  16. The Bonobo (formerly called the Pygmy Chimpanzee) do not descriminate between gender or age when it comes to s*x.  The only sexual pairing that is taboo is between a female and her adult male offspring.

    When they find a new food source or piece of territory they can become so excited that they all have s*x.
