What's the most annoying insect to you? Cockroaches? Flies? Ants?

It's winter here, and I've had the most awful ant infestation. It rains here during the winter months so all the ants come inside to escape the downpour. THe problem is that when they come they start stealing all my food? Every morning I've woken up, I've seen massive clusters of ants either trying to get into the honey or even my protein powder!!!!

In summer, though, the flies are just impossible! They're everywhere, and if you're not careful they lay their eggs in a piece of meat while you're unaware and then it's maggots the next day!

Then again, cockroaches are absolutely disgusting. Sorry to all the entymologists out there: I know bugs play a vital part in our ecosystem, but they can be darn annoying too.

Cockroaches. Flies and ants are easy to kill and die quickly. However, cockroaches are very hard to kill, and not only are they speedy, but they can take flight! Plus, they're bigger. I just think they look nasty.

Cockroaches are definitely the most ugly and scary!  I had one of them 'dive-bomb' me years ago! O_o  (it was actually 'buzzing' like a miniature fighter plane as it stared straight at me, swooping down for a collision)...Fortunately I ducked and it went by, then sprayed it again when it landed on the far wall, which eventually brought it down.  It's a wonder I haven't had nightmares, ack.

Ants. We in the southern U.S. are having the same problem. I can't put a bowl of food out for the dog that they just attack it in about 15 minutes. Fire ants are the worst. For such little critters they have painful bites.
