What's the most capacity of water that a plant seed can encounter without it being too much?

  1. As a general statement most seedsd are ok to be soaking wet but not underwater. Wet drained soil is good for most.


  2. Totally depends on the seed.

    I've planted some lithops seeds (a.k.a "living stones")  where a drop of water every couple of weeks is plenty of water, and then there are things like avacados that can grow in a glass of water.

    So it depends....
