yeah,, I used to burn them with a magnifying glass...and squish them with  mini M&Ms cases...

When I don't want to touch or squish a bug I stick it with a panty liner and then fold and squish.

use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. The ants will pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

I suggest, getting some frootloops, put all of them around every any place you see, put all of them in a jar once they're covered in ants, then fill it with some oddly colored liquid. Great fun.
