What's the most dramatic fight you ever witnessed?

When I was twelves on the second to last day of school in sixth grade, these two boys went at each other. This boy Lamont said Gary's older sister was sexually promiscuous and called her a dirty name, can't say it here. Gary beat Lamont's head in the asphalt. Lamont was in a coma for two days, needed stitches, and he need surgery on his arm because it was shattered. Gary had already gone through puberty and had about a foot and 100 pounds on Lamont. All Lamont did was give Gary a bloody nose and a broken jaw.

They both got arrested and expelled.

Just outside of Kuwait City Airport, Feb 26, 1991.  Elements of a Republican Guard outfit used the smoke of the oil field fires to cover their approach, and popped out on the left flank of a Marine company team moving to encircle the airport.  The fighting was fierce and relatively close quarter, and the Iraqis demonstrated an unusual degree of bravery and aggression, closing with us, even while taking casualties.  Eventually, our fire discipline and the use of ATGW drove them back a little, and the Marine Sea Cobra gunships came in under the smoke and played some smackdown on them and they finally broke and retreated away, but let me tell you something...it was a h**l of a fight.  At least forty Iraqis died just in front of my platoon position, and several of us were wounded (including me) and a Platoon Sargeant was killed.
