you bought it from a jewelry store for about 6000, the jewelry store bought it from the wholesaler for about 2000, the wholesaler bought the diamond from an individual for about 900 to 1000 dollars.

SO, don't get insulted when the diamond buyer offers one thousand bucks for a 1 carat diamond

a 1/4 carat diamond you will get less than 100 dollars

a 1/2 carat diamond 250

a 3/4 carat 750

a 1 carat diamond 1000
