i am an intermediate tennis player, and looking for a racket that gives least strain on elbow to prevent tennis elbow. i'm not a power guy; i'm mostly looking for depth control, power control, etc, etc. i'm all about control and maneuverability.

  1. My choice is the Wilson K Factor Team, this rackey features great maneuverability and great control. Its weight is balanced so that it gives half power and half control. Even though it requires a full swing, it packs a versatile shots that no opponent can cover on the court. I would give it certainly 5 out of 5 stars, a high recommendation for any player.

  2. it's hard to tell exactly which racquet would be right for you without actually knowing what your swing style is and other stuff like that. but i would definitely reccommend going to www.tenniswarehouse.com and checking out their so-called "tweener" racquets. they're lighter in weight (which would help with the elbow), more forgiving and more powerful. i think that if you go with a head or a wilson especially you'll be fine. good luck!

  3. Nadals babolat is good, I use it. i'm ranked around 100 in Florida u16.

And the Babolat pro drive series are always good.

    Babolat is just great.

Babolats are all easier to use than wilsons that are heavy.

But it's all based on opinion.

    peace

  4. head liquidmetal radical. all bow to its orangey goodness.

  5. You need a racquet that's around 300g or more (to avoid tennis elbow, etc) but head-light enough for good maneuverability.

If you can manage it physically, I'd go for the Wilson KBlade Tour 93.  Fantastic control vs. power and the mass will reduce chances of twisting during miss-hits.

If not, go for the KPro Tour 96.  I just demo'd this recently and think the specs suite my doubles play better than my current KBlade 98 (which I find is not headlight enough).

    Good luck!
