    known as a living fossil (not a clumpy tree fern thing, it's tall and shimmery), originally thought to be extinct in the wild, beautiful to look at, also known as the Maidenhair Tree, no known living relatives, lives to very old age (up to 3000 years) and fossil specimens have been found dating back 270 million years.

    the school i work at has one in the grounds (middle england) and it looks just that lil bit different from all the rest. very pretty.

    likes chalk or limestone tho grows pretty much anywhere with good drainage http://www.pfaf.org/leaflets/ginkgo.php

    can't get more exotic than that :)

  4. I've got some kind of a palm tree. I forget what type it is though. It started off small and now massive. I have another one of the same type and it stayed small.
