What's the most expensive thing you've lost?

I just lost a graphing calculator worth $200 approx a couple of months back(it was stolen) .. and I have to replace it .. and my parents are mighty angry(I'm 17 and am saving up my allowance to pay for it, I get approx $45-50 a month).. any suggestions on what else I could do?

Also, any similar experiences you'd like to share?

once, when i was a 15, my dad gave me $100. but i was only supposed to use $10, and give him the change. well, i lost those $100. he was supermad.

and i guess the most expensive thing i lost would be my senior ring. it cost almost $500. and i just lost it. my parents don't know about that one. my mom thinks i gave it to her to hold.
