My personal favorite is Scrabble, but I think that Mancala is the best overall board game ever.  It is an ancient game, deceptively simple yet amazingly complex.  It is easy to learn and play and a game moves along and is finished quickly.  It is fun for all ages.  If you don't have one you can make one using an empty egg carton and 48 pebbles or stones or dried beans.  A great game.

  6. when we were kids my brother and i was staying with our Uncle David,he let us stop up late and we played ludo but Uncle Dave made it real funby pretending to cheat and making us laugh doing silly things.It is a childhood memory i look baqck on with great pleasure.He is gone now but is always in my thoughts

  17. Settlers/Seafarers of Catan and Pillars of the Earth are my current favorite board games.

    I enjoy Run for Your Life Candyman, Seismic, Power Grid, Union Pacific, Empire Builder, Acquire, Rail Baron, Ticket To Ride, Snorta, Apples to Apples, etc.

  18. wel!!! i was not allowed to play when i was young as they feared i would gobble up the pieces of the game. now i am 13. this happened when i was 1 or 2 years now i am allowed to play. i like playing snake and ladder cause its challenging
