Lipitor is a cholesterol lowering drug and is the number 1 selling drug nationally and is from a drug class called statins.  To answer the question above. But I would say HIV drugs and this century we have the new HPV vaccine.

Well almost all drugs have been discovered this century. MDMA (ecstasy) is in the top 5 if not first. It could be EXTREMELY useful for the world. Too bad they banned it worldwide.

I forgot the name but a cholesterol lowering drug. Other popular drugs are sleeping pills like Ambien, anti-depressents like Zoloft and sinus medication (starts with a C, forgot the name).
