  1. def. setter

  2. I would say a setter because a setter is the coach on the court. He/she have to be prepared mentally, emotionally, and physically for a game, and a setter does a whole lot more than a libero or hitter.

They control where the ball goes and to whom it goes, and it is his/her job to control the ball and win points. It is like in football(Amer.), where someone has an assist before a touchdown. The assist is more important. So is the setter.

  3. they're all pretty important, but i think setter is most important and also one of the toughest. :]

  4. you all have to work like a team so everyone is just as important as everyone else!!!

  5. If you talk about opening position on your team, I believe that the Head Coach is the most important position :)

Talking about volleyball players, it is hard to say who is more important when you play as a team.

If you I have to vote for one position, I would say the setter. When you play 5-1 rotation, you will have that one and only one on the court making decisions for the whole team. Most teams would honor the primary setter as the team captain.

  6. there all the same!! all equally hard!! Servers gotta get it over or the other team gets the point, setter as to make sure their sets are spikable, spikers have to be able to jump supper high to get a good spike, and diggers are constantly on the floor making sure the ball goes over the net before you the ball hits the floor!! They all work together as a TEAM in order to win!!

  7. depends...

  8. i would say passing. this is what my coach said: if there isn't a good pass, then you can't have a good set. and if there isn't a good set you can't have a good hit. but i suppose all positions are pretty important.

  9. hmm, tough question. pretty much all of them, i think.

without a decent serve, you'd have no pass to begin the

game. without a pass you'd have no set. without that set there

would be no attack, which would mean no defence on the other side. all of us players are linked together in some way. without that one person, we wouldn't be able to do our job :D

  10. there is no importtant position thay are all the some!!!!!

  11. I played on a men's team that said I played the most important position on the team.  I was the back up.  I was the back up outside, middle and right side hitter and the back up setter.  When I was on the bench, I was the coach.  They would always tell me that I was a much better coach than player.

All joking aside, every position is important.  The server is important.  If you never get a serve over the net, you will not win.  If you never get a good pass to the setter, an All World setter on your team will not help.  If you have a great setter and no hitters, who will notice.  The players on the bench are important since they not only practice against the players on the court, but they help with information and cheering from the bench during the games.

  12. Actually all position is important since you play us a group each position has its desire task..so if one of the position is not doing his part you can't achive your goal..but I think the best position is the setter..we have this saying that the setter is the heart of the team..because with out the setter there will be no play...

  13. setter. a great setter can win games on his own a bad setter even on a good team could lose them games..i know from experience

  14. Setter, but middle is suposed to do everything and i am an outside but i do think setter is the most important

  15. every single one of them, and you all have to work as a team. The setter is more out there with setting up the ball and spiking. You must have agility and jump height to be able to achieve the perfect moves for that position, front is offensive and back is defensive, so they have to work in harmony on the court or else that will be one of the worse teams on the board. :P
