if you mean radio station, it's different I think depending on where you are in the united states, like state-to-state. If you are shooting for conversation starters, maybe you should go with what popular songs are going on instead? You can find those just by looking up the bilboard top 100 sites and stuff. Sorry if this was totally not what you were looking for.

If you want to improve your English I suggest you listen to National Public Radio (NPR) there are lots of talk shows for you to concentrate on expanding your vocabulary, pronunciation, and slang.

I'm taking a guess that you mean station and not the product itself. I really do not know. All I can tell you is I believe the most power full stations run at 50,000 watts. One such station is WLS. Its 98. something on the AM dial in Chicago. My guess is this if not the best known is certainly in the top 5 or 6 but this is just a guess on my part without really looking into it. I do have a suggestion for you. I just purchased something called a WI-FI Radio. It runs off a computer modem wireless. It just requires two electrical plugs. Thousands of stations and no extra fee. Stations from all over the world. If you are interested you might google the C CRANE COMPANY, or RECIVA RADIO.  Best of luck  Bob  Post script your computer does not have to be on to use the radio.

prbably MOST known would be Rush Limbaugh.  He is broadcast more nationally than most other talk show hosts.  (any local radio station someone gives you is only popular in that area)  Where as Rush is popular all over the U.S.
