  2. This should tell you everything you want to know !! http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-dead...

  3. The Black Widow

  4. None, they are all safe to eat.

    However, most spiders are venomous.

The "most venomous" depends on what your looking for.  The spider that is considered to have the most potent venom is the Australasian funnel web spiders (Atrax spp).  However, due to low frequency of contact, and the invention of the antivenin, no one has died from one since 1980.  In total, 13 people have been reported to have died by the bite from these spiders.

The spider responsible for the most deaths world wide is unquestionably the Widow spiders (Latrodectus spp).  There are 31 species of widow spiders world wide, *including* Australia's redback spider (Latrodectus hasselti), the 3 black widow species, the brown widow, the red widow, and the Mediterranean widow.

In actuality, death rates for the widow spiders are less than 5% of reported cases,

Meaning the most dangerous spiders are far from "if you get bit by this spider, you're pretty much done", and many many more people die each year from wasps and bees than spiders.

Other spiders that have been attributed to recorded deaths, are the brown recluse spiders and the six eyed sand spiders.

There are several other kinds of spiders that have been known to require hospitalization.
