"Power" depends on how much of the bow's energy, imparted to the arrow on release, is retained by the arrow; "Speed" depends on how much of the bow's energy is translated into arrow flight; "Quiet" depends on how much of the bow's energy is wasted.

Put another way: A 70lb-draw bow shooting a 400 grain arrow may send that arrow to the target extremely fast, but it will most likely lack power and be rather noisy while doing it. Conversely, that same 70lb-draw bow shooting an 800 grain arrow may be "slow", but it will most likely deliver that arrow with real power and be quiet while doing it. For best results, a 400 grain arrow is best used with a 40lb-draw bow.

When doing your research into which bow is the "best", consider how that bow is tested -- and what kind of arrow is used in each phase of that testing.

Of course, if all you really want is super-fast projectiles hitting with super-heavy force while making very little noise...perhaps you should use a silenced rifle.

PSE has the X force 348 FPS and bowtech makes the 82nd airborne at 350 FPS.  These could possibly be the fastest bows on the market today. Should be very quiet for the money i would hope.
