  1. 200 and only if it converted to a toddler and full size bed

  2. I think anything that you can afford. If you can afford a $500-$700 then go for it. they have very nice ones at like at walmart for around $200 and its the kind that converts into a daybed and a full bed and they rare nice wood color. But I think that its all to what you like and can afford. Good Luck!!

  3. I spent about £300 but it turned into a small bed that lasted until she was four so I think it was worth the extra spend. x

  4. Actually, I spent a thousand on ours and will buy another one for our next bub. Thank goodness for the baby bonus! Australian dollars, by the way. Over here, $200 would buy the flimsiest piece of rubbish that could scrape into the safety standard category by the very most narrow of margins. The cot I bought was the deepest, sturdiest one I could find, since I destroyed a cot when I was a toddler :) It also converts to a full sized single bed. I'll have to buy another mattress when it's converted, but they won't need another bed until they're old enough to buy their own queen size.

  5. Whatever you can afford and want to spend.

As long as its clean and safe, the brand and attractiveness are more for you than for the baby. All a baby cares about is being loved and cared for. We are the ones who want the cute little nursery and all the cute little things.

  6. i spent 700... its a convertible one though and its really cute

  7. by crib do you mean bassinette or cot?

i remember when i lived in Canada what we called a cot they would call a crib and what they'd call a cot we would call a roll-away bed.

Anyways..... For a good cot in Australia you are looking at atleast 600 dollars. Id go a grand for one i guess. My daughter is still in her bassinette (RRP 900$) and we will be getting her a cot in the next few months. the ones at toys r us and babys galore are all 800 + and im not going to get a cheapo thing from kmart!

  8. I spent $200 on a convertible one.  I would never spend anymore then that on a crib, convertible or not.

  9. My fiancees aunt gave us our crib that was actually enver used. Personally I dont think Id spend over 200.

  10. most id spend is prob 500 dollars.

a baby is the most important thing in a mothers life.  deserves the best.

  11. We've had two Pali cribs that we love.  One is a 3 in 1 and one is just a regular crib.  They are both about $800 each.  I wouldn't trade them for anything!
