I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid with a smashed front. The hood is crunched in pretty bad, the engine casing is cracked (the internal engine is still intact though and was capable of starting up and driving me off the road after the accident), the radiator is destroyed and the headlights and everything else in that area is pretty much gone. But the rest of the car is is top shape and has fairly new tires.

I'm thinking $300, but am veering towards $400. Is that a little steep?

  1. $300.00 -$400.00 is a good price

  2. that is steep the engine is gone to if its cracked to i would say 200 at the most if your lucky my opinion is take it to a recycling facility and sell it to them and not hassle with it they will pay you for what the car weighs

  3. $300, or less....$250.

  4. Yeah, that's a bit much. If it was a classic car that would be a sweet deal, but if I were going to make you an offer for that car, I'd say 250 tops.

  5. Thats okay to sell as parts. The interior and a handful of other parts would be worth $300 by themselves.

  6. You can listen to the others if you want to but I am in the car business and I would give you about $100.00 that is what I would get at the scales for it. I can tell that you have come to the point that you already know that the car isn't worth fixing back up It would cost far more to repair it than it would be worth on the other end. If any of the others that have said that they felt that the car was worth what you want hen tell them to contact you and you will arrange to sell it to them, but the real deal is that it is a full size car is almost 10 years old and everyone that is buying cars now are looking for the very small cars larger cars are headed very quickly to the crusher I like you own one but mine is in great condition and I am not selling it. If you find some one that will give you $300 for it, you better take it and run. Big cars are rappidly loosing their value, I look for gasoline to reach $5.00 before the end of the year
