I saw a show about the royals a little while ago, and they showed her personal bartender mixing her daily drink - it was gin and something, but I can't remember what the other ingredient is. Just curious....

  1. Jack Daniels with a line of coke scraped in.

  2. I heard that one of her favorite beverages is barley water.

  3. Queen Elizabeth II's favourite drink is Gordon’s Gin & Tonic with 3 slices of lemon.

  4. de black stuff

  5. Her Majesty enjoys a gin and tonic but is well known to be only an occasional drinker. Not so the late Queen Mother. She liked whisky and also a cocktail drink fashionable in the 1930's, but fashionable to the Queen Mum until her death. The drink consisted of gin and a liqueur known as Dubonney. Apparently quite a head blower!

  6. The Queen's Favourite drink is Gin and Dubonnet.

Dubonnet is a red-wine based aperitif that's similar to red vermouth.

30% Gin and 70% Dubonnet are mixed with ice in a crystal tumbler.

A lemon slice is placed under the ice.

A very similar drink has a dash of bitters added in, and is called a DUBONNET COCKTAIL. This drink is almost identical, and I'm sure that this name can serve to reference the Queen's favourite drink.

    Hope this helps!
