  1. The Hill Top serves a wicked burger topped with raw onion and Swiss cheese. Cooked mid-rare.

  2. Fuddruckers?

A great way to find restaurants around the Boston/New England area, especially if you just can't put your finger on the name that's on the tip of your tongue is to check out the Phantom Gourmet website.  Most likely, if the food rocks, they've been mentioned by these guys.

  3. you might be thinking of Kelly's Roast Beef?  famous for beef, not necessarily burgers, but their burgers are delicious.  they have a few locations, the original in Revere, one (no longer there) in Boston at the circle at the end of Charles Street.

  6. Eagle Deli, in Cleveland Circle. They made #2 on the Travel Channels "best places to pig out".

Out of all thier burgers, you have got to order the "The Chillerama" its is a burger with five pounds of meat, twenty slices of cheese, and eighteen strips of bacon.

They also have a challenge there, if you eat it all, and fries too, they either name a burger after you and/or you get your photo on the wall.
