Lol, it kind of sounds like the Chevy Astrovan from the 80's-90's.

GM made a couple, all versions of the same van.  Chevy and Pontiac.  They had find a way to put a thin layer of copper in the windshield because of the area it covered and the amt of sun heat it collected.
