What's the name of that one sword in soul calibur?

the giant sword that that one guy uses, I'm thinking of soulcalibur 2 but he may be in the other ones too. I heard that it actually is a real kind of sword, but don't know

I think you maybe referring to soul edge, it's the only big sword in the game i can think of. Soul Edge is not a real sword. If you want a sword like that you could try looking for broad swords.
