Does anyone knows the name of the classic banjo Greek song, it begans slow but it get faster and faster with the same tone.

It was on one of the scenes from the movie "The sisterhood of the traveling pants"

..it is not banjo... it is bouzouki.  And it is Syrtaki as you've already read.   You can also hear this music in the Guy Ritchie film ,  Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (the seen they all take turns shooting at Tom's house)
