Doctor for kids is called pediatrician, right? What about for adults? What's the name of the doctor?

  1. A GP, or fondly known as `the quack`.


  2. Usually a General Practiioner (GP)  or sometimes an Internist.  A doctor for elderly folks is a Gerontologist

  3. a doctor is a doctor or general practioner

    some doctors specialise in certain areas, such as paediatricians, obstetricians, psychiatrists, surgery, geriatrics, etc etc

  4. Doctor (last name). Or if they are a specialist, Doctor (lastname).  

  5. Medical Practitioner.

  6. I thought that was the name for a foot doctor!

    Adults doc is just called "a doctor"  or "GP" (general practicioner)
