  1. proving that there is a god doesn't really say much anyway.      U would need to know the nature of the god for it to have meaning.

  2. He has no name because that hasn't happened.

  3. Adam

  4. Philosopher's do not offer the types of "proofs" that many demand in their elucidations concerning God's existence.  What they do offer are ways in which one can think about the existence of God.  A great book in this regard has been written by Mortimer Adler entitled "How to Think About God."  You might also consider investigating Thomas Aquinas and St. Anselm.

  5. Descartes in the Meditations

  6. all profits in all religions. all good people who give for nothing. all the enlightened individuals through out history. all mystics that can not be seen on tv, but they can be searched for. All such people, all their deeds prove that their is something more to look for, something more behind the world of appearences ie: all mighty powerful GOD.

  7. I can name several who tried, but none who succeeded. The fact is, there is absolutely no logical proof that demonstrated that a deity(ies) of any sort exist.  Belief in such a being is a completely faith-based proposition.

And the guy who said Descartes did in the Meditations is flat out wrong. Descartes' "proofs" are easily dispatched.

  8. St. Thomas Aquinas thought he did (see link). But his explanations tend to be full of logical fallacies.

  9. You may mean Spinoza.

  10. Wow.

  11. By definition, God is not a provable thing, or it would be an alien or something else, not a god
