    acalypha hispida

    bright light , warm temperatures, good air circulation,

    it is related to copper plant and you can treat it like a hibiscus

    it is not cold tolerant,

    it is susceptible to spider mites,

    likes to have fertilizer,

    i have grown them commercially and at home as a house plant and in a garden.

    also it is sometimes called red hot cattails
