What's the next step you'll take when you know you failed your IGCSE's?

If you know you failed your IGCSE ,and getting a C grade would be a miracle, what can you do to secure your future when you want to take on the hard jobs like being a doctor or a neurologist? I'm waiting for my results and I know I didn't study as much as I could. What can I be doing or what can I do besides repeating my year?
