I remember Lucy and that's as far back as I went in college. There must be more now that date prior to her time on earth.

  3. Yes: Omo I (and Omo II) which was found around 130,000 years ago in Herto, Egypt is often considered the oldest anatomically modern human found. Some have classified it in the subspecies of H. sapiens idaltu.

    Lucy is from A. afarensis which existed from 3.9-2.9 mya. It is not the oldest hominin, but it is one of the most complete hominin skeletons found. The oldest proposed hominin fossil is from Sahelanthropus. I believe that the actual fossil is a jaw and a shoulder.

    The oldest human (H.sapiens) was found in Central Africa, close to the Equator, 195,000 years old...
