If you mean the commander or admiralty then the opposite would be the civilian public or a common person or even a novice.

If you mean the alloy Cu3 Zn2 of naturally occurring copper nickel crystals then you could say it was at least different from the man made alloy called red brass that also contains tin with the copper and zinc (CuZnSn). This is also known as gunmetal.
