I would imagine that it would be incredibly large. I have seen estimates anywhere from 50 to 80% of the sexually active population has been infected with HPV, However, 50% of HPV cases are cleared by the immune system in 6 months and 91% are cleared within two years. Because of this, most women clear the virus from their bodies before they ever realize they even have HPV.

As long as a woman gets an annual pap test, she doesn't need to worry about HPV. Again, in 91% of cases, the virus is cured in two years or less anyways. Even if a woman gets an abornmal pap, most women will clear the virus before they ever get cervical cancer.

that's like asking what the percentage is of people who are dead and don't know it....there is no way to tell, if they don't know whether or not they have it, now is there.
